DFP aims to provide not just basic Technical education but to spot the talent and nurture it. The futuristic curriculum lays equal emphasis on academics and personality development.
The DFP curriculum consists of general courses (2 trimesters), program related courses (1-3 trimesters) and specialization related courses (1-3 trimesters), followed by an on-the-job training of 6 months (2 trimesters).
Department of General Curriculum offers general courses to the trainees spread across Trimester 1 and Trimester 2 with a total 46 credit hours. The courses are related to English, Computer Applications, Mathematics and Basic Sciences, besides other courses such as Business Ethics & Communication and Occupational Health & Safety.
